		<description>Oh yes, the University of Chicago Press deserves all thanks and praise for bringing these Stark novels back in such handsome editions. Fortunately, Westlake lived long enough to see their initial reissue, and learn what in inspiration his Parker novels were to John Banville. These should be required reading for everyone who loves noir fiction. Good work, Bruce.</description>
