Certainly it's an opportunity to really learn something as readers, while the publishers take advantage of the 'popularity' of a topic. It's just unfortunate that it seems the authors who get drafted to write these books often aren't skilled enough to write something meaningful, and their works are hurried out the door without enough oversight in order to take advantage of their timeliness.
