forever odd koontz reviewThe prolific Dean Koontz has already put out two novels this year, and a third is due Nov. 29.

Titled FOREVER ODD, it’s a sequel to his 2003 fan-favorite ODD THOMAS, about a fry cook who communicates with the dead. No other info on this follow-up is available yet, but it’s up for pre-order.

I can’t decide if Dean Koontz is really awesome or if he really sucks. But I do have to give props to WATCHERS. That’s a great horror novel. I don’t think I’ve read any of his recent stuff except for FRANKENSTEIN BOOK 1.

I’ll have to chime in with a vote for “awesome.” I’d never read anything of his since FRANKENSTEIN: BOOK ONE last fall. Since then, I’ve read STRANGE HIGHWAYS, DEMON SEED, VELOCITY and FRANKENSTEIN: BOOK TWO, and loved them all. Needless to say, I’ve also bought a lot more of his titles, though haven’t yet gotten to them.
