According to this must-read profile by CNN, the idea for the line was sparked over the sweet seductive lure of alcoholic drinks, which we find totally appropriate. The article also details Hard Case Crime’s plans for expansion in 2006 and the it’s-all-good effect that publishing Stephen King’s THE COLORADO KID has had on them.
