Even though Daemon may not be well structured, it is a hell of a read. I wasn't bored a single minute. Best thriller since the great Michael Crichton's novels.

Glad I could save you the money, Brendan, especially in these times. And you make a very good point about Charles Stross. I've enjoyed several of his stories and novels. And for my money, his take on cyber-nightmares is far better and more worth the effort that this one.

Thanks for the review. They want 15 bucks for the e-book. Glad I skipped it.

I've recently been enjoying Charles Stross--I think his novel Halting State fits the bill of a cyber thriller with actual characters. The computer stuff is over my head, so I have no idea if it's credible, but it's a very compelling read with well-drawn, sympathetic characters.
