David,
Wow! I've only had the chance to skim the list, but this is a beautiful thing! I have a haphazard, cut-and-paste list that I've rabidly avoided updating and completing (once you start a project like that, you're stuck!) so this is a great resource to have. Thanks!

And you are correct about the FEARSOME FOURSOME being the Batman movie novelization...I DO have a copy and should have known better. Thanks for the correction.

One correction. BATMAN VS. THREE VILLAINS OF DOOM ["Three" on title page, "3" on cover] isn't a novelization of the 1966 BATMAN movie. I just read it. It's an original story. There's another one from the same year, BATMAN VS. THE FEARSOME FOURSOME, which is the movie novelization, I believe. (I don't have that one to confirm, however.)

I just got done putting up a comprehensive list page (although I'm sure that I probably missed a few) of novels based on comic books over on Wikipedia (couldn't believe that no one else had already done one so I finally decided to just go ahead and do it myself):

Well, as a multiple repeat offender when it comes to superhero prose, I'm certainly enjoying your column. I'll be curious to see what you think of COUNTDOWN . . .

Yes you dare and it's encouraged--we're all about raising awareness of all aspects of our little corner of publishing, comic book prose. I know there've been several DC novels done as audio books; perhaps I should get a sampling from someone at DC and do a column on that particular aspect. Thanks for the good readin', Greg (I enjoyed 52 for pretty much the same reasons as INFINITE CRISIS, your ability to make sense out of all that chaos).
