Happy Kitty Bunny Pony: A Saccharine Mouthful of Super Cute

happy kitty bunny pony reviewSubtitled A SACCHARINE MOUTHFUL OF SUPER CUTE, this collection of kitschy-cutesy art lives up to that and more. From saucer-plate eyed ducklings to anthropomorphic piglets in conductor’s uniforms and lambkins with pink bows on their head, HAPPY KITTY BUNNY PONY is the ultimate guide to adorable.

And normally I wouldn’t pick up a book like this (as much as I love kitsch), but the text for the book is written By MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000’s Michael J. Nelson. And while his contributions are pretty much limited to maybe a sentence or two a page, those sentences or two are well worth the $15. For example: “Feelings of inferiority often lean ponies to show up at children’s birthday parties where they wander around looking pathetic until someone takes pity and accepts one of their slow and, frankly, lame rides.”

Thoughts like this make the book one laugh after another and, as an added bonus, makes your coffee table simply precious.
