Let me know if/when you read this. I&#039;m always intrigued by novels made from films that end up being more than just crappy by-the-numbers cash-ins. 

The best ever example of a movie novelization is The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension by Earl Mac Rauch. It is everything the movie was supposed to be--a pulpy throwback to the old days of Doc Savage and The Avenger.</description>
