graphic classics edgar allan poe reviewThe GRAPHIC CLASSICS line of illustrated literature first burst onto the comics scene in 2001 with a volume dedicated to Edgar Allan Poe. It sold out, as did the revised second edition, so June will see the release of the third edition of GRAPHIC CLASSICS: EDGAR ALLAN POE.

With 40 new pages not seen in the previous volumes, this POE features new comics adaptations of “King Pest,” “The Premature Burial,” “The Imp of the Perverse” and a 10-artist tag-team treatment of “The Raven.” Artists for this edition include Anton Emdin, Marcel de Jong, Joe Ollmann, Lance Tooks, Michael Manning, J.B. Bonivert, Mary Fleener and many more.

It’s up for pre-order, and you can preview four pages after the jump.
