Dark Horse resurrects Universal Monsters for novels

creature from the black lagoon reviewBeginning next month, Dark Horse Comics’ new novel imprint – DH Press – will begin releasing a series of six original novels featuring the beloved stars from Universal’s classic horror films. This follows Dark Horse’s recent graphic novel collection featuring the monsters (look for our review soon), and the schedule is as follows:

DRACULA: ASYLUM by Paul Witcover – March 8
THE WOLF MAN: HUNTER’S MOON by Michael Jan Friedman – April 12
CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON: TIME’S BLACK LAGOON by Paul DiFilippo – June 7
• FRANKENSTEIN by Stefan Petrucha – TBD
• THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN by Elizabeth Hand – TBD
• THE MUMMY by Michael Paine – TBD
