Cover for King’s CELL revealed

stephen king cell reviewFrom the looks of the cover, Stephen King’s upcoming novel CELL marks a return to pure horror. After all, there’s lots and lots of blood on it – maybe even more than that of his story collection EVERYTHING’S EVENTUAL – so what else could it be? The plot has something to do with cellular technology turning people into zombies; beyond that, we’ll just have to wait to find out.

CELL will be released Jan. 24, which isn’t too far off, but you can pre-order it now.

Love your site! Nice to see reviews that are written for fans, and potential purchasers of horror books, not other writers.

I thought King said a while back that he was retiring? Now he is cashing in on the “zombie craze”? I would recommend skipping this one and picking up Brian Keene’s two excellent zombie books: THE RISING and CITY OF THE DEAD. You won’t be disappointed.

I think the retirement threats were just the meds talking. When you’re on painkillers (as he was after getting hit by a car), you’ll say anything.
