Cemetery Dance has announced a new special edition of two William Peter Blatty horror classics: THE EXORCIST and its sequel, LEGION. To publish next July, the oversized hardcover volume will include a career-spanning interview with Blatty, as well as more than 10 illustrations from Keith Minnon. According to marketing director Brian Freeman, only 750 signed copies will be produced ($75 each), plus 52 copies of a deluxe lettered edition ($400). “There will be no second editions or reprints,” he said.

wweheroes1BUT WILL IT HAVE ADS FOR SLIM JIM?
Because professional wrestling isn’t already cartoony enough, Titan Publishing will bring the stars of the WWE ring to the four-color page next year when it launches the WWE Comics. Twenty issues are planned, including the flagship title, WWE HEROES, which debuts March 23, 2010, and features such personalities as Triple H, Undertaker and Rowdy Roddy Piper. “We’ve got some truly amazing
stories to tell,” said Ned Hartley, the book’s editor. “Our first issue is going to blow you away!”

OMG! TMPLR CHRNCLS!
Those who read Joe Nassise’s HERETIC: THE TEMPLAR CHRONICLES and wanted more, you now have your chance to see the series continue … on your mobile phone. The first book and its sequels, A SCREAM OF ANGELS and A TEAR IN THE SKY, will be available later this month as e-books from Blackbetty Mobilemedia. Never printed before in English, the two follow-ups can be read in the serial format, at six episodes apiece. Nassise said an iPhone app will soon follow, as well as versions for the Amazon Kindle and the Sony Reader.
