my motherinlaw- witch- drama queen, pia

lIsa Sibley November 11, 2008 at 6:13 pm

I don’t want to have my brother-in-law ever again. He has a driniking problem and somehow always ends up sneaking alcohol – ruining everyone’s day. Hope he gets some help SOON

Aisling November 11, 2008 at 7:30 pm

I had to stretch to think of anyone I don’t want to see. We’ll be driving a couple hundred miles over the holiday, so I really hope we don’t see the snow plow man.

Angela Palmer November 11, 2008 at 8:21 pm

I most hate looking forward to seeing my coworkers. I spend all my time with them anyway, the last thing I want to do is work at Christmas.

Heather B November 11, 2008 at 8:45 pm

This is my first christmas divorced and my kids will be with their father on christmas day!

Sarah November 11, 2008 at 8:45 pm

Guess it would have to be my own face in the mirror, since that’s the only human visage I’ll be seeing all day, more than likely.

Shannon November 11, 2008 at 8:46 pm

I won’t be seeing any of my family for the holidays as I live a long ways from them so don’t really have anyone I don’t look forward to seeing.

ky2here November 11, 2008 at 9:40 pm

Creepy holiday party guest. Can’t be too specific in case they’re still stalking me.

oona b November 12, 2008 at 12:01 am

I’m not looking forward to seeing my daughter sulking around the house during Xmas vacation because school is out. It will be a challenge to keep her busy and entertained!

Lindsay November 12, 2008 at 1:17 am

This is my first Christmas without my parents, although I’ll be with my husband and son its just not the same.

Kelly F November 12, 2008 at 2:02 am

I’ll tell you who I am not looking forward to seeing this holiday season. The same person I dread seeing every year. The overstuffed, overstressed, and overbudget version of me! I swear, I think I diet the rest of the year just so that I can let go during those holiday dinners haha.

Varina November 12, 2008 at 3:48 am

Spending the night at Heathrow Airport, and schlepping tons presents for a half dozens people through three different customs agents and airports.

Varina November 12, 2008 at 3:49 am

How do you add an image?

Liz R November 12, 2008 at 4:53 am

A dishful of dirty dishes (I don’t have a dishwasher), that’s what I’m NOT looking forward to seeing. But with my loving family, I will most likely be spared that chore. After surviving nh lymphoma this year, it is a joy just to be with everyone!!

Susan C November 12, 2008 at 7:03 am

I don’t look forward to seeing the bill collectors who may be showing up at my door after I am through shopping. Also my boyfriends brother who never stops talking and takes drugs.

My husband because he’s the one that drinks too much and puts the lamp shade on his head, it’s embarasing!

Lynn Bushey November 12, 2008 at 8:59 am

The mailman with the credit card biills.

R Hicks November 12, 2008 at 9:19 am

I am least looking forward to having to sit with some particular in-laws at the xmas dinner. YUCK!

herblady November 12, 2008 at 9:25 am

My husband’s ex because she’s like a bad penny and you never know when she’s going to turn up and try to make our lives miserable!

Elaine R November 12, 2008 at 9:54 am

My husband’s 2 kids who are adults and still blame everything on their dad and the divorce!

Deborah R. November 12, 2008 at 10:57 am

I’m least looking forward to seeing two of my nieces – as young adults, they’ve become very self-centered and it usually makes me sad to see their selfish ways. But I’ll hope for a Christmas miracle!

Katie S November 12, 2008 at 11:56 am

Least looking forward to seeing the creepy fat santas wandering around. haha

Colleen Holt November 12, 2008 at 12:15 pm

I’m least looking forward to the abominable drive from the metro D.C. area to Williamsburg, VA where the parental units reside. I-95 South is a complete nightmare, always, and even worse around the holidays. But if I win these books, I’ll have something to read as I crawl along at (no kidding) 5mph. Thanks!

Cheryl Free November 12, 2008 at 1:57 pm

I’m least looking forward to seeing my future mother-in-law this holiday season. Without saying so, I know she doesn’t like me and never will. I’ve tried everything and give up. Her only child is almost 50 and she’s more concerned with keeping him a “mama’s boy” than with his happiness. Oh well!

This is a fuzzy photo, but I’ve “lost” my online photo album with 50th anniversary pictures:

*Thanks* for the giveaway!

I’m looking forward to spending this holiday with my family who I don’t see very often my girlfriend and i could really use the books to read on the train ride from Baltimore Maryland to Newport news Virginia

Kathy November 12, 2008 at 2:06 pm

I’m lucky – I won’t be seeing anyone I don’t want to this holiday season.

Linda November 12, 2008 at 3:34 pm

My brother-in-law.He drinks too much and thinks he’s a ladies man.

Shelley K November 12, 2008 at 3:42 pm

I’m lucky too…we don’t have any “family” around for the holidays..sometimes it is lonely but sometimes it’s good!!

Melinda November 12, 2008 at 4:06 pm

If I have to chose teh people I’m least happy to see it would be my ex inlaws…who knew when i got divorced I’d get custody of them?? I apparently should have fought less???

Sarah November 12, 2008 at 4:28 pm

I’m not looking forward to seeing my father-in-law and his family. They always have holiday “parties” but they’re such sober occasions in every sense of the word. The whole family is boring and subdued and there’s no drinking allowed. So I can’t even get drunk to make them seem lively!

Danyelle Tyrrell November 12, 2008 at 4:30 pm

The in-laws – but thats a given for most people isn’t it?

Susan Ledet November 12, 2008 at 4:43 pm

I guess that I’m the odd one out here since there isn’t anyone that I’m not looking forward to seeing this year. I love to spend time with my family and friends and take the good with the bad. It wouldn’t be much fun otherwise.

flip November 12, 2008 at 5:23 pm

I don’t look forward to seeing George W. Bush on my tv, newspaper or internet. I enjoy my family and friends.

Irma Doherty November 12, 2008 at 6:14 pm

You’ve gotta be kidding!

Ed Nemmers November 12, 2008 at 9:26 pm

Sarah Palin’s lingering.

Janet F November 12, 2008 at 9:27 pm

I am looking forward to a visit from my best friend.

I have not seen her in five years, so I am happy.

Thank you!

Am not looking forward to seeing my husbands ex-wife, we
had had what I thought was a friendly relationship, she was
the one who set us up as a couple after they split, we had
stayed in touch and usually stayed at her house when we go
to visit their grown daughter for holidays but this last year I discovered she has been manipulating us, and her daughter
and playing us off against one another with herself as the
martyr. Seems everyone knew but me and they didn’t have the
heart to tell me till it started to damage my marriage, now
not only am I upset, I feel like a fool, and everyone says
just go and stay with her and ignore what’s going on but I don’t want to do that, I don’t want to see her again, but
my husband and step-daughter say just ignore it and laugh
it off like they do. But you know, it’s not ok, and I am
not looking forward to having to see her or deal with her
again.

Scott Kirkland November 12, 2008 at 10:55 pm

Whoever I have to sit next to on my Christmas Day flight from California to Florida. Please let me win so I’ll have an excuse not to make polite conversation!

Cynthya November 12, 2008 at 11:50 pm

I’m not looking forward to seeing the Salvation Army bell ringers. I know, that makes me evil, but those bells drive me crazy.

Cassandra November 13, 2008 at 7:01 am

my boyfriends brother and sister, I have recently been black balled from his mothers side of the family due to a convicted child sex offender. We are going to his fathers side for the holidays. I am not ready for the glares and nasty comments.

Joan November 13, 2008 at 10:49 am

In my senior yrs I want to see everybody but in my younger and middle years I didn’t like seeing my inlaws. They didn’t like me and would make fun of just about everything I did and/or said. And no, my ex-husband wouldn’t say a word to anyone. Now though my holidays are a lot different… peaceful and I really wished I had had more nerve years ago to speak up to all of them.

Mel K. November 13, 2008 at 11:22 am

Anyone who knew me when I was extremely thin. lol!

Sue Farrell November 13, 2008 at 12:38 pm

My brother-in-law because he’s such a leech–always thinks he’s entitled to more than anyone else.

Sandra November 13, 2008 at 12:45 pm

My least favorite moment is trying to decide what to get for the “hard to get for” people on my Christmas list. I love books!
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

Christine November 13, 2008 at 1:38 pm

My sister’s brother-in-law as he’s usually at their house when they have a get-together. He’s a real know-it-all wind-bag who thinks he’s better than everyone else, but just shows up where there’s food and drink and does nothing to contribute. Listening to him is like torture. Love the books and thank you for a chance to win! I could always read one while I’m putting up with him; maybe he’d take a hint.

sito November 13, 2008 at 2:55 pm

I love to see my mother and I love to see my brother in law, but I hate to see them together. I don’t know what Mom has against him, but she’s not particularly good at controling her venom and it just gets really uncomfortable.

Justin November 13, 2008 at 5:14 pm

Has to be my mom this year as with my new baby she has so much “advice”..Hate is a strong word though..Its more that I just need to “prepare” for it… Yay for EggNog!

christopher h November 13, 2008 at 5:41 pm

my brother, he’s just so full of @#$%

jolene November 13, 2008 at 5:52 pm

im not looking forward to seeing my grandma, we’re on the outs
