Meryl Streep is looking to cook up yet another friggin’ Oscar nomination with her portrayal of celebrated chef Julia Child in the new film JULIE & JULIA, based upon Julie Powell’s book JULIE & JULIA: 365 DAYS, 524 RECIPES, 1 TINY APARTMENT KITCHEN. Tied to the movie’s release is a reissue paperback of Child’s memoir MY LIFE IN FRANCE, written with Alex Prud’homme.
