HOW VERY COOL!
Congrats!
Outstanding!!! Congratulations!
Congratulations! You guys must be thrilled. And (really) it’s OK to let go to your heads, just a little. Until tomorrow, that is — and maybe then too.
Don’t worry Steve I’ve been parading around the block wearing my crown and waving my bejeweled scepter high in the air. Is that a bit to much.
Cool! Guess what they say in Texas–”Vote early and vote often!”–helped y’all!
At least the hours I spent at the public library logging into computer after computer didn’t go to waste.
Wow!
Congratulations, first and most importantly, to our amazing editor, Rod Lott. And to my fellow contributors and everyone else who magically make Bookgasm happen. I am thrilled and honored to be part of this site and what we celebrate. Next round’s on me, guys!
I knew all that Charo nudity would pay off someday.
Whoever voted for Bookgasm in the Most Concise category definitely weren’t familiar with my reviews/articles/self-indulgent mini-autobiographies!
You’re welcome. Seriously, your site does kick ass.
… where else can you go for a Solar Plexis alert?
You could if taken seven out of seven if only you’d included the robot porn.
Your unhealthy desire for robot porn has been granted: http://www.bookgasm.com/reviews/sci-fi/saturns-children/
Yes!
When a commercial blog wins awards, the very purpose of BBAW fails. In the first place it should not have been nominated. Just my point of view.
I respect your opinion, but I’d be curious to know your definition of “commercial.” As one of our writers said, “If we’re commercial, I’m owed some money!” This is the purpose of the awards, as stated by those who started it:
“Book Bloggers: You work hard. You read books, you write reviews, you maintain relationships with your readers, publicists, and authors. You are constantly running to the post office to mail your giveaways and participating in carnivals to help boost traffic. You sometimes want to faint when you see the size of your TBR pile, but faithfully you read. And you do it because you love it. Book blogging is for most a hobby. But it’s a hobby that takes a lot of work and time. It’s a labor of love.
I’ve been blogging for three years but only really got into book blogging in the last year. I have found, without a doubt, that book bloggers are the kindest, most open minded, and supportive group of bloggers on the internet. With book blogging, it’s about community and a love for the written word.”
That’s us!
