Three years ago today – Aug. 13, 2005, for those of you who like numbers – BOOKGASM was born. We’re nearly 2,000 reviews strong as we head in to year number four. Yep, we’ve already lasted longer than most modern American marriages!
And part of that is thanks to you, kind reader (and also the not-so-kind reader). Thanks for bookmarking us, coming back, participating in the discussions, entering the giveaways and, most of all, spreading the word about BOOKGASM! Our audience has gotten bigger each year; hopefully, the site will keep getting better with it as well. In my opinion, it already has with the debut of our new logo/header above — courtesy of graphic genius Matt Goad of the Oklahoma City-based design firm Hit LLC — which better reflects our coverage and spirit.

Congrats! I consider Bookgasm essential reading, especially the Bullets, broads, blackmail, and bombs column. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep evangelizing for y’all.
*sings* Happy birthday to yooooou…
Bookgasm, you fogey.
Cool… happy to have played a small role so far, with promises (I know, promises, promises…) to contribute more.
Congratulations. I’ve got Bookgasm on my bookmark bar and I check it every day. One request: review more manga.
Happy B-day, B’gasm!
I love the site, but where are the nude photos of Charo?
And many more . . . !
