It’s so hot out that I almost forgot to do this monthly rundown of the hottest search terms that bring ‘net surfers to BOOKGASM. As it will forever be, May searches brought the usual mix of breasts and boobs (both in the form of mammaries and James Frey), with Evangeline Lilly leading the charge, no doubt thanks to LOST’s much-discussed season finale and simply having a killer rack.

But for me, the smiles reside in the non-anatomical search terms, like the 56 people looking for “patterson book spoilers.” (Here, I’ll spoil them for you: They suck!) My favorite for May, however, goes to the lone person who spent time at his/her keyboard, simply wanting to know “why did ellery and jarlaxle have sex in the promise of the witch king.” It is a question I cannot answer, but it is a question I salute.
