I've been collecting Collins for a while. Only need one book in the Nolan series and one in the Quarry series. I really enjoy Wolfe's stories, but Wolfe is a jerk. Once you come to terms with that, the stories make more sense. Hardcase crime is great.

I read some thing by or about Max Allan Collins recently and it made me want to check out his stuff and, coincidentally, I have been wanting to pick up this one because I like the cover as well. So, you've sold me! I really just started reading crime fiction this past year and enjoyed it but didn't get enough of it done in 08.
